Shredders
|
Shredders shred everything from office documents to CDs, glass and tires. Office and personal shredders destroy moderate amounts of paper and can service a single desk or small department. Industrial shredders destroy material other than paper and can be attached to a baler and/or a conveyor for automatic processing. High security paper shredders destroy secret and top-secret documents to Department of Defense standards. Each cut is half-character sized or smaller for DOD applications. Balers compress and tie together waste materials for convenient disposal and recycling.

High security shredders are available in deskside, office, departmental, hopper and heavy-duty models. D.O.D shredders are specialized paper shredders designed to completely destroy documents to Department of Defense specifications of level 5 (1/32" by 7/16") or level 6 (.0468 X .2031 inch) shred size.

| Cross Cut Paper Shredder
Cross Cut shredders provide a more secure form of document destruction by cutting forms into tiny bits. There are various levels of cross cut shredders ranging from deskside models to government approved models for destorying "top secret" documents. Because cross cut shredders make two cuts per pass, they are slower than strip cut shredders and shred fewer sheets per pass.
