The Kobra 240 C4T cross cut shredder handles up to 15 sheets of paper per pass, and has the added capability to shred credit cards with ease. It cuts paper down to 1/8" x 1-1/5" pieces. It has automatic start/stop via electronic eye and stand-by function with light signal for one-handed paper shredding. The 240 C4T has a special safety feature that shuts the cutting heads off once the door is open. It comes equipped with a heavy-duty chain drive with steel gears and carbon hardened cutting knives that are unaffected by paper clips and staples. Its specially designed cutting mechanism compresses the shredded paper while the machine is in use and increases the capacity of the waste bin. The removable waste bin makes emptying a snap; simply pull out and remove. No plastic waste bags are required.
