The Kobra 240 S5 high volume deskside shredder cuts up to 22 sheets at a time into 1/4" strips. Its 9.5 inch throat allows the machine to cut up to 30 feet per minute. It has an automatic start/stop via photo cell and stand-by switch with indicator lights for one-handed paper shredding. The 240-S5 has a special safety feature that shuts the cutting heads off once the door is open. The 240 S5 paper shredder comes equipped with the standard Kobra heavy-duty chain drive with steel gears and carbon hardened cutting knives that are unaffected by paper clips and staples. The shred bins space saving design gives the user manageable front access to the machine for convenience. An optional computer forms top shelf is available for continuous forms shredding.
