The Kobra 385 C4 paper shredder features a heavy-duty chain drive with steel gears and continuous-duty motor, providing years of trouble-free service. Its cross cut shreds up to 16 sheets of paper into 1/8" x 5/8" pieces. The wide 16" throat is specially designed to shred EDP print-outs. The 385 C4 shredder has an electronic eye that automatically starts/stops the machine once paper has been inserted. A stand-by function allows for less energy consumption while the machine is in use. Visual indicator lights stop the machine when shred bag is full or door is opened. The cutting head destroys staples, paper clips and credit cards with ease. The 385 C4 is also available with an adjustable computer forms top shelf for continuous shredding.
