The IPS 16 Combo is a combination of the knife mill disintegrator and hopper feed with a conveyor belt added to pull material into the machine for shredding. Its 16" feed opening allows for wide loads of material to be fed in for shredding. It is a smaller model designed with dual 3-horsepower and 2-horsepower motors that work in conjunction with one another to destroy paper, plastic, corrugated boxes, wire, metal and newspapers. It cuts at a rate of up to 90 feet per minute. Its shred size is granular; so small it can't even be measured. A pinch style conveyor system compresses corrugated material, PET and PVC beverage containers. The material is then force fed into the shredder where it is reduced. Contents of entire waste bins can be poured into the top via the hopper feed. Combining the two best methods of feeding ensures efficient disintegration of various materials. Waste volume is limited only by shred bag or output hopper size. Optional spare knives and filtering screens are available.
