The IPS 40B-1/2 high capacity shredder cuts material down to 1/2" pieces. The large 40" pinch, heavy top conveyor knocks down large disposable cartons, boxes, milk jugs, etc., flattening and force feeding them into the shredder. This conveyor system breaks down corrugated material, PET and PVC beverage containers. The "reel type", hardened steel cutters churn windmill-style, cutting into paper without generating excessive dust, and requiring minimum power. Safety features include an infeed guard, large hinged top cover to form over machine, switches to instantly shut down power motor when guards are removed, and control transformer automatically converts high voltage machine power to lower household current for maximum operator safety. The key lock system ensures that only authorized users access the machine.

IPS warrants its products as follows: One (1) year on defective parts and labor from date of receipt; limited lifetime warranty on primary cutters and cutter shafts, except D.O.D. special high security models, RC, B, and crusher model shredders/knife mills. Does not cover normal wear and tear or paper jams. Warranty void on all models for operator abuse, misuse, neglect or alteration (modification) to shredder/disintegrator or any of its components.
