The IPS 40 Combo is a large combination shredder with both a 15 horsepower and 3 horsepower motor that work together to shred large volumes of material. It has a knife mill disintegrator with a combination hopper and conveyor feed system. It is designed for destroying paper, plastic, corrugated boxes, wire, metal and newspapers at a speed of up to 90 feet per minute. It has the capacity to shred up to 600 sheets of material at one time. Its shred size is granular; so small it can't even be measured. A pinch style conveyor system compresses corrugated material, PET and PVC beverage containers. The material is then force fed into the shredder where it is reduced to particles. The hopper allows material to be dumped into top and contained in a bin before feeding in to the machine cutters. Waste volume is limited only by shred bag or output hopper size. Optional spare knives and filtering screens are available.
